Job Description:
As a Summer Analyst, the individual will be integrated into the junior team, observing ongoing transactions as well as providing support in:
- Qualitative and quantitative analysis related to equity transactions, including initial public offerings, marketed follow-on offerings and block trades
- Preparation of strategic and financial research and analysis to support existing clients
- Creating, analyzing, and maintaining complex models and proprietary databases
- Targeting potential issuers and developing bespoke marketing materials
- Additional designated project-based work to span the full internship
Qualifications:
Successful candidates will be pursuing an undergraduate degree with a strong GPA from a leading university, on course to graduate by May 2025. Candidates must be highly organized, proactive and detail-oriented, with an ability to interact with senior individuals and work under pressure. Team chemistry is critical and demonstrated ability to work as part of a team is central to the hiring process. In addition, the following criteria will be considered:
- Demonstrated examples of work ethic and team mentality
- Prior experience working in Microsoft Office Suites
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent problem solving and analytical ability
- Knowledge of corporate finance, accounting and/or financial markets is preferred
- Confidence to interact with senior partners
- Ability to perform under pressure and deadlines
- Creativity and entrepreneurial spirit
