- Reviews data and makes recommendations on wildlife issues within the Field Office area.
- Serves on field level interdisciplinary teams, and is responsible for writing and reviewing required biological input into environmental assessments and other NEPA documents, as well as biological assessments.
- Responsible for the identification of impacts to wildlife habitat by other resource activities. Evaluates inventory and monitoring data to determine habitat impacts, and formulates strategies to minimize or mitigate impacts.
