The Opportunity: Talent Development Intern
- Assist with the integration of technical solutions and workflows to support Talent Acquisition, Onboarding, and Learning and Development.
- Prepare, refine, and edit training and presentation materials including slide decks.
- Proactively suggest and collaborate with the team on relevant improvements or corrections to processes, procedures or plans.
- Key stakeholders include Head of HR, hiring managers, and a wide range of employee and volunteer talent.
Candidate Profile
- Currently pursuing a degree in HR, Business, or related field; graduate students and/or professional working experience preferred
- Ability to build trusted partnerships with all levels of the organization
- Ability to design and communicate clear processes, and an analytical, yet creative, approach to problem solving
- Strong proficiency in Google Workspace required, graphic design skills highly desirable
- Positive personal attitude that includes action-oriented, flexible, with a willingness to adapt to changing situations and having a good sense of humor
- Passion for the mission and values of Ascend
Employment Details:
- Internships are offered as unpaid.
- Schedule commitment is 10-20 hours weekly for a minimum of 6 weeks.
- Work can be done primarily asynchronously. Some flexibility to meet during weekdays with team is required
- Ascend is a remote organization with a highly collaborative geographically distributed team. This position will be based remotely in the United States
