The Role: We’re seeking a dynamic, visionary, hands on Marketing, Sales, and Public Relations Leader to drive our growth, enhance brand awareness, and build strong relationships with customers, partners, and the media. This role is a key strategic position that will oversee all aspects of our marketing, sales, and PR efforts, playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of our brand in partnership with our PR and digital media consulting team. Our ideal candidate will be self-motivated, hands on, creative, and able to drive significant results. Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to promote brand awareness and drive sales.
- Create and manage digital marketing campaigns, including social media, email marketing, and content creation.
- Work closely with the creative team to develop compelling visual and written content for marketing materials, website, and social platforms.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to continuously refine and improve marketing efforts.
- Oversee the planning and execution of seasonal and promotional marketing initiatives.
- Construct and edit content for social media including photos & videos.
Sales Leadership
- Identify and execute new sales opportunities, including partnerships, retail distribution, and e-commerce channels.
- Develop and manage key relationships with retail partners, distributors, and foodservice clients.
- Drive sales growth by identifying emerging markets and expanding our presence in existing ones.
- Create and implement a customer retention strategy to ensure long-term loyalty and repeat business.
Public Relations & Brand Positioning
- Develop and maintain relationships with journalists, bloggers, influencers, and key media outlets to increase brand visibility.
- Oversee press releases, media kits, and other PR materials, ensuring consistent and compelling messaging.
- Represent the brand at industry events, food festivals, and speaking engagements to enhance our public profile.
- Manage crisis communication and media inquiries, ensuring our brand is positioned effectively in the marketplace.
Desired Qualifications:
- Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative marketing campaigns that resonate with a diverse customer base.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with media, customers, and business partners.
- Ability to create content, edit photos using software such as Adobe Illustrator or others, construct and edit videos.
- A deep passion for food, particularly premium and artisanal products, and an understanding of what makes a brand stand out in a competitive market.
- A proactive, results-oriented mindset with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-starter and self-motivated.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in the ice cream, dessert, or CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) industry.
- Existing media relationships with food and lifestyle publications.
- Experience with influencer marketing and building brand partnerships.
