Overview
We are currently accepting applicants for our Camp Program Coordinator position for our 2025 Summer Camp staff and interns.
This is a Paid Internship. Our overnight summer camp is in Northeast Pennsylvania which is located just 2 ½ hours from New York City and Philadelphia.
Responsibilities
Our program team provides Trail’s End with the support, organization and creativity needed to run our Daily, Evening and Staff Programs.
The primary function of the Program Team is to collaborate between the camp leadership team, themselves and the group leaders to plan, promote and direct daily activities and special events throughout the summer. A Program Coordinator focuses on all the details, ensuring each separate activity has the needs and instructions to be run as an individual group.
Developing and maintaining positive relationships among campers and peers is another main responsibility of the Program Coordinator. The ability to give and receive feedback in a critical way, will improve the ability of the Program Team to work and make adjustments for individual groups, in the Daily, Evening and Staff programming schedules.
Applicants must be detail oriented, have excellent organizational and communication skills, and a proven ability to work with and supervise others.
Program Coordinators will be trained and supported by the Program Director and Camp Directors.
Event planning and management experience is preferred.
Our Program
Trail’s End is an all-around camp that includes a strong Sports Program, Arts and Crafts, Digital Media, Woodworking, Watersports and Outdoor Adventure. Many special events are staples in our camp program including out of camp trips, College Day Competitions, Halloween, Special Days and our huge 5 day camp competition towards the end of camp, Olympics.
Each summer over 200 staff members are chosen and will travel from all over the world to take part in the Trail’s End Experience. Salary
Trail’s End offers a competitive salary that is based on age and experience. Our staff will receive their salary in addition to a travel reimbursement. Room and Board are included.
