We’re looking for a creative, organized, and community-minded Events Coordinator Intern to help us plan and execute arts and culture events. This role is ideal for someone passionate about event planning, crafting, and cultural engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate arts and culture events, especially crafting workshops (e.g., music events, candle-making, DIY mosaic picture frames, plant & paint)
- Manage event logistics: scheduling, materials procurement, setup/breakdown, and day-of coordination
- Collaborate with local artists, small businesses, and vendors to curate engaging and inclusive event experiences
- Provide on-site support and leadership, ensuring smooth event execution and addressing attendee needs
- Conduct post-event feedback collection and use insights to improve future programming
- Support marketing and outreach efforts for events (optional, if interested)
Who You Are:
- Passionate about arts, crafts, and cultural programming
- Organized and detail-oriented, with strong communication skills
- Comfortable leading small activities and engaging with event attendees
- Available for 5 hours/week, including occasional evenings and weekends
