Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to support the planning and execution
of key events within our business community. This position will play a crucial role in organizing
a variety of events, including our Farmer’s Market, Golf Outing, Networking Events, Breakfast
Meetings, Lunch & Learn Sessions, and the popular Restaurant Crawl in River North.
Additionally, the individual will provide essential administrative support to the President of the
Association, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
As events are at the heart of our association, this role is critical to our success and growth. The
person in this position will have the opportunity to learn and grow within the nonprofit sector,
directly contributing to the success of our events and the ongoing development of the business
community we serve.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Coordination: Assist in the planning and logistics for a variety of events,
including but not limited to:
o Farmer’s Market
o Golf Outing
o Networking Events
o Breakfast Meetings
o Lunch & Learn Sessions
o Restaurant Crawl in River North
Collaborate with vendors, venues, sponsors, and attendees to ensure events run smoothly.
Assist with event promotions, registration, and post-event follow-up to ensure maximum
engagement and satisfaction.
Help coordinate event schedules, materials, and on-site logistics.
Administrative Support to the President:
o Provide essential administrative support, including managing calendars,
scheduling meetings, and handling communications.
o Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and correspondence for the President.
o Help organize internal meetings, maintain records, and ensure that deadlines are
met.

social media platforms.
A positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute to the team.
