Job Description
The Event Coordinator Intern will work directly with the Vice President of Operations to plan, organize, and manage events that involve Coach Kee’s 360 Training. This role offers hands-on experience in event planning, logistics management, community outreach, and operational coordination within a fast-paced and mission-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with planning and executing events, workshops, fitness showcases, community fairs, fundraisers, and promotional activities.
- Support logistics management, including event timelines, equipment rentals, transportation, and setup/teardown coordination.
- Help manage event registration, volunteer coordination, and participant communications.
- Communicate with vendors, venues, sponsors, and community partners to ensure event needs are met.
- Create and organize event materials such as signage, schedules, promotional flyers, and participant packets.
- Support budget tracking and assist with basic financial reporting for events.
- Attend events to assist with on-site operations, check-in, coordination, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with the VP of Operations to promote events across social media, newsletters, and community outreach platforms.
- Provide post-event evaluations, feedback collection, and reporting to leadership.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Comfortable working flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends for event days.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, and familiar with event management platforms (e.g., Eventbrite) is a plus.
- Enthusiastic about community building, fitness, and youth development is highly preferred!
