Want to teach at Rutgers? Attend an information session about the FIGS Peer Instructor experience!  First-Year Interest Group Seminars (FIGS) allow Rutgers undergraduates to develop a course that addresses their area of study and essential information for students transitioning to college. Come learn more about the application and selection process from FIGS staff and former Peer Instructors (PIs). Attendance is not required to apply. Applicants must be full-time Rutgers New Brunswick undergraduates currently in their sophomore or junior year with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (3.2 preferred). Candidates must be enrolled as a Rutgers junior or senior in the Fall 2025 semester and have at least 24 credits.
